ADAM-6520 Series
The Advantech ADAM-6520 series are 5-port industrial-grade switches with Ethernet connectivity, supporting transfer rates from 10 to 100 Mbps (auto-negotiation). Similar to other products in the ADAM family, the ADAM-6520 can be mounted in three different ways: DIN rail, wall, and stack.
Its robust industrial-grade design ensures reliable operation across various application areas, including semiconductor factories, inventory control environments, assembly lines, and manufacturing facilities. The switch modules accommodate a wide voltage range of +10 to 30 VDC via the terminal block, and the inclusion of 3,000 VDC surge (EFT) protection safeguards against over-voltage concerns.
The ADAM-6520 series operate effectively within a temperature range of -10°C to 70°C, while the ADAM-6520I variant extends its functionality to harsher environments with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Troubleshooting is made easier with the six inclusive LED indicators per port, providing information on link status, port activities, collisions, power failure, and data receipts for immediate on-site diagnosis .
